The object is to see a good straight line between your ball and the target, a task that is not always easy when you set up to either side of that line. I had been having trouble hitting the hole on putts, and when I put on the Eyebeam, I noticed that the laser line was aimed a good 18 inches left of the hole even on an 8 foot putt. Upon further examination, my weight was shifted back onto my right leg and foot at address, and my stance had become wide open in regards to the target line. In other words as a right handed golfer, I was aiming well left of the hole at setup, causing multiple manipulations of the putter face and head during the swing. Through practice only on aligning myself correctly and looking at the hole, not left of it, I have been able to quickly correct my putting stroke and get it more straight back and through to the hole, simplifying the entire process. Further, since I have been using Target Side Strong with more weight shifted to the left side at address on full shots, I have been hitting the ball longer and straighter because the Eyebeam is showing me that as my weight moves to the left and more over the wide part of my feet at address and setup, I am SEEING AND LOOKING down a line that is straight from my ball to the target, causing a more one plane swing and a simpler move back and way and down and through the ball without any in-swing manipulations.
