PLAYING GOLF, HOW ONE SWING CAN TURN YOUR GAME AROUND, SWING TECHNIQUE, PLAY GOLF

what about it?

FEBRUARY GOLF
I came down to Southern New Jersey this February 2011. We decided to play golf on a rare 65 degree day and got in Ballamor Golf Club in Steelmanville up the road about fifteen minutes from where we are staying. Typical of February golf I pulled my first drive a little into the left rough from the white tee, and then hit a 6 iron from 143 yards to within 5 feet of the flagstick that was on a severe downhill front middle placement. I mossed the putt but made my par. From then on the front 9 was a nightmare. Every swing hurt every bone and muscle in my body. I thought I was using my routine that served me with great success last fall when the golf season ended but was apparently doing something really wrong. My bone-on-bone knee hurt so bad I wanted to scream, and my neck back and shoulders were screaming for pain killers. I hung tough, tripped over a rope that was next to the cart path, maintained my balance and made another high number.
Ballamor is a relatively new course and extremely long, about 7,300 yards. From the 2nd tee on I played the black tees that happened to be pushed all the way back. Well the front nine was terrible to say the least. I hurt and was ready to quit. When we arrived at the 10th tee, I took my driver and walked up the hill to the black markers. I looked around and didn’t see a hole. You can see five or six holes from the 10th tee, which is way out in the middled of the course, out in the boondocks. The sky was blue, the air was warm and the shadows and sunshine were a thing of beauty to behold. A feeling of calm suddenly came over me. All my pain went away as I looked out over the fairway on the long par five. I set up to the ball, and took a completely connected one piece swing that produced a drive that I measured at over 240 yards, not bad for a newly turned 60 year old. The swing was painless and felt automatic, just like last fall. I absolutely ripped the ball with a small draw right down the middle of the fairway, and proceeded to make a par. Played great the rest of the back nine without having to think about my swing. The ball just jumped off the club face and went straight where I was aiming it.
One swing proceeded to turn the entire experience into a positive. It was a beautiful day in the middle of February and a change of mindset or soul-set or whatever changed the whole day. I caught the spirit the golf tunnel, the positive vibration. “Somewhere out there is a good round of golf I just had to find it.” I hit my irons good and every drive landed in the center of the fairway with pretty good distance for this time of year. My muscled reacted to my mindset and produced swing after with acceptable results. No pain no effort. Stay with it!Entrance_Page.html
